Many Jeepers wonder about the rear anti sway bar. Should it be removed or should it stay on the Jeep? Does it help with articulation if it is removed or disconnected? Well the short answer to this is no it should not be removed and no it does not increase articulation if removed.

The best thing to do is to just leave it on or get longer end links if you get a lift. Did you notice that nobody sells rear sway bar disconnects? That's because disconnecting the swaybar is a poor choice. It reduces your stability on the road and does not help you off road.

Your other option is to get a rear antirock. It won't hert anything but it isn't worth the money in my opinion. Particularly if you don't have a front antirock I for sure woulen't get one in the rear.
