The Jeep Wrangler TJ version is my favorite looking style. The older style will always have a place in my heart but the TJ is my favorite. It seems like it has the best of everything and with the most potential. A rugged build and a utilitarian look. The Jeep Wrangler TJ is just a good looking all around awesome off-road vehicle.

If you don't know which model I am talking about just read on and I will give you the details. This is the model that started production in 1997 and was built mostly the same until 2006. Like any model of any vehicle there are many different packages to choose from with the most desired being the Rubicon. The TJ is most easily recognized by looking at it head on. It has round headlights coupled with the signal lights in the front fenders. The newer models that I am not so fond of have the signal light in the grill like the old CJ's and the awful looking YJ's.  The YJ Jeep Wrangler ended production in 1995. Did you know they didn't build any Jeep Wranglers in 1996 at all?

In the midst of the 1997 to 2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ came the special model made for better towing capacity. This is the Wrangler LWB or long wheel base model and otherwise known as the LJ. Although I don't like the stock look of this model I think it has the most potential of the TJ series. It has a longer wheel base by ten inches. That is enough to cause some serious problems when crawling over large rocks. But this is also enough to create an awesome crawler when a good lift is added. The extra length also gives it a better base for towing and adds more room for camping/wheeling supplies in the back. This is the one I own obviously.

I don't think you can go wrong with the Jeep Wrangler TJ model. Whether you just want to look cool or whether you want to rule the rocks and mud you will not be sorry you bought this fantastic Jeep.
